Dr Dennis Chang, Principle Dentist

Dr Dennis Chang established SmileBright Dental over 14 years ago. His extensive experience, world-class treatments and gentle caring dentistry; make Smile Bright Dental a leading Brisbane dental practice.

Dennis graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand, in 1997 with a Bachelor of Dental Science. He has a special interest in Cosmetic, Restorative and Implant Dentistry and has built a reputation on providing exceptional quality restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr Chang has a strong belief that quality treatment with long term stability and regular preventative care are the keys to keeping your teeth for life.

When Dennis isn’t caring for his patients, he finds his greatest joy in spending time with his wife and young family.

Alan Chan, Oral Health Therapist / Hygienist

Alan graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Oral Health) from the university of Queensland, Brisbane in 2007. He works with our dentists to promote the idea that "prevention in dentistry is better than intervention".

He started his dental career in Rockhampton, where he worked for Queensland Health in the school dental vans for 2 years. He has a passion for dentistry especially children’s dentistry, but also has an interest in periodontal and gum disease treatment. Alan is still striving hard to become a dentist.

Outside of work, Alan is a qualified personal trainer and learn to swim teacher. Alan is a cheerful person who loves his sport and is a dedicated team member of SmileBright Dental.

Belinda Slade, Practice Manager / Treatment Coordinator

Belinda has been working at SmileBright Dental since 2007, she manages the team, but she is on hand to liaise with you through your treatment plan and is available to assist with any questions you may have throughout your treatment. Belinda has the knowledge, expertise and the commitment to ensure your experience with SmileBright Dental is nothing short of exceptional.

Away from work Belinda enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 German Shepherds and also following the Brisbane Lions.

Stacey Sinclair, Front Office Coordinator

Stacey has a background in vet nursing and has changed her career to dental. Stacey is available to coordinate your appointments that will work with your schedule. She will work with you to organise everything you will need for before or after your appointment.

When Stacey isn't at work she is kept very busy with her 3 young children and her husband who she loves spending time with.

Jaimie-Lee Hilditch, Hygiene Coordinator

Our hygiene coordinator is a vital member of the SmileBright Dental team. She is skilled in the areas of infection control and most importantly making you feel comfortable during your treatment. Jaimie-Lee is currently completing her Certificate III in dental assisting, and is enjoying expanding her knowledge in dentistry.

While not working, Jaimie-Lee enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Hannah Goulding, Clinical Coordinator

Hannah has a passion for dentistry and finds her greatest reward is to ensure all her patients are comfortable and relaxed during treatment at SmileBright Dental.

When not at work, Hannah enjoys cheerleading, water skiing and football.

Donna, Clinical Coordinator

Donna has 14 years experience in the dental industry, not only is she a qualified Dental Assistant but also an Oral Health Educator, which allows Donna to be able to share her passion for oral health with the wider community. Donna’s enthusiasm and knowledge ensures that every patients SmileBright experience is a comfortable and relaxed one. She was born and raised in London and after falling in love with Australia during family holidays, Donna and her family decided to move down under. In her spare time, Donna, her husband and two young daughters enjoy exploring the country they now call home.
